The design
The wing detail is embroidered rather than printed, stitched across both the front and back so it keeps its dimension wash after wash. A two-fabric splice runs the length of the body, which means the piece reads differently depending on how the light catches it.
Open it and the entire interior is a Shinobu print. That’s the part nobody else sees, and it’s deliberate. The zipper pull is a custom butterfly, made for this piece and nothing else. It’s the kind of detail that costs more than it strictly should, and it’s what makes this feel like proper outerwear.

Care
Machine wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle, then hang dry. Keep the embroidery and the printed lining away from high heat. Skip the tumble dryer and iron around the wing stitching rather than over it. Treated this way, it holds up indefinitely.
